In my mind's eye, hobby farming and sheep hearding would be a fantastic - although unrealistic - idea. Just the idea of having my own sheep to then have full access to all the yarn I want, would be lovely. Then, I came across this article, and I'm now rethinking the whole concept.

Eh, I think that one's more a case of someone who went into it with no clue about what it would take. She didn't even know how to knit! Betcha a knitter would shave a lot off that estimate; no classes, fewer supplies and oh yeah, you might actually buy less yarn...
